Story:
New York Giants defensive back Joseph Burnett II was arrested Wednesday (March 16, 2011) in Orlando, Florida.
Burnett was arrested after police noticed Burnett’s vehicle moving at a low rate of speed and failing to maintain its lane. When approaching the vehicle, police noticed the odor of alcohol coming from Burnett. He provided two breath test samples, with both reading .046.
Burnett, 24, was later released after posting bond. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Giants in January 2011.
