University of Wisconsin defensive lineman Jake Irwin was arrested Thursday (September 1, 2011) in Madison, Wisconsin.
Irwin was arrested for his role in a fight that occurred outside the Red Gym. Irwin was allegedly struck in the head with a rock during the incident.
Irwin was dismissed from the team after this incident.
