Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy was found guilty Tuesday (July 15, 2014) night in North Carolina.
According to ESPN, Hardy was found guilty on charges of assaulting a female and communicating threats. Hardy was sentenced to 18 months of probation. Hardy said he will appeal the decision.
Hardy, 25, was arrested on May 14 for an alleged domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend.
Hardy recorded 59 tackles and 15 sacks last season.
