Washington Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth was found guilty on Friday (December 5, 2014) in Fairfax County, Virginia.
According to the Washington Post, Werth was found guilty of misdemeanor reckless driving. He was sentenced him to 10 days in jail (with another 170 days suspended), fined $1,000 and his driver’s license was suspended for six months.
Werth, 35, was charged in July 2014 for driving 105 mph in a 55 mph zone.
