University of Louisville cornerback Alphonso Carter was cited on Tuesday (December 6, 2016) in Louisville, Kentucky.
According to The Courier-Journal, Carter was cited around 8 p.m. after being pulled over for running a red light. Police allegedly found a loaded handgun in his vehicle. Carter did not have a concealed carry permit.
Carter pleaded not guilty on January 10.
Carter was suspended indefinitely on Monday (February 6, 2017).
