Former NFL offensive tackle Kevin Sampson was arrested on Monday (July 10, 2017) in El Reno, Oklahoma.
According to newsok.com, Sampson was arrested around 10 p.m. outside a gas station after police responded to a report of a man acting oddly while sitting in his vehicle for over 15 minutes. Police determined that Sampson had taken some type of medication with stimulant properties then searched his vehicle where they found 615.7 grams of marijuana, digital scales and a shotgun that was allegedly stolen in Missouri.
Sampson, 36, played in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs from 2004 to 2006.
