Former University of Memphis point guard Joe Jackson was arrested on Wednesday (August 16, 2017) in Memphis, Tennessee.
According to commercialappeal.com, Jackson was arrested around 6:30 p.m. following a traffic stop. Police searched his vehicle and allegedly found a backpack in the back passenger seat that had a pill bottle filled with 100 various colored pills, which later tested positive for ecstasy. Police also found $4,500, a loaded .22 Keltec pistol in the backpack and a .40-caliber pistol under the driver’s seat
Jackson, 25, played basketball at Memphis from 2010 to 2014.
