Former MLB player Lenny Dykstra was arrested early Wednesday (May 23, 2018) morning in Linden, New Jersey.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Dykstra was arrested after allegedly putting a weapon to the head of an Uber driver and threatening to kill the driver. Police allegedly found cocaine, MDMA and marijuana among Dykstra’s belongings.
Dykstra, 55, played in the MLB with the New York Mets (1985-1989) and Philadelphia Phillies (1989-1996).
UPDATE: Dykstra was indicted by a grand jury on Tuesday (October 9, 2018) on possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine and a terroristic threat charge.
