According to twincities.com, Williams was pulled over at 2:22 a.m. after police clocked him driving 75 mph and 81 mph in a 55-mph zone. He had a blood-alcohol level of .09.
Williams pleaded guilty to careless driving on Thursday (July 26, 2018). Charges of DWI and speeding were dropped. He was sentenced to 30 days in the Hennepin County Workhouse but 29 days of the sentence were set aside and he was credited with one day of time served. Williams was placed on one year of probation and paid $778 in court costs.
