Georgia Southern University defensive end Deonte Dempsey was arrested on Tuesday (April 15, 2014) in Bulloch County, Georgia.

Dempsey, 22, was arrested along with two others during a drug bust. Police executed a search warrant and allegedly found about one pound of marijuana in their apartment.

Dempsey, a sophomore, was suspended indefinitely following this incident.

Texas A&M University wide receiver Edward Pope, defensive lineman Gavin Stansbury, and defensive back Howard Matthews Jr. were arrested on Thursday (April 10, 2014) in College Station, Texas.

The three men were arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop. Pope, who was driving, was pulled over around 11:40 p.m. for an expired registration. Police discovered a warrant when they ran his license. When Pope requested that Stansbury or Matthews be allowed to take the vehicle home instead of it being towed, police discovered that Stansbury had a warrant for his arrest and Matthews was wanted on three warrants.

Story:

Iowa State University defensive tackle David Irving was charged on Friday (April 11, 2014) in Ames, Iowa.

Irving was charged for his involvement in a riot on Tuesday (April 8, 2014) night. Irving appeared in various pictures and video footage at the riot carrying a stop sign and pushing down a light pole with a group of people.

Irving, 20, was suspended indefinitely from the team following this incident.

Irving recorded 19 tackles and 2 sacks in 10 games last season.

UPDATE: Irving has been dismissed from the football team.

Nealy was arrested at 11:54 p.m. after being pulled over because the music coming from his vehicle was too high. Police allegedly recorded the music at 80 decibels with a noise meter. He was pulled over 15 minutes prior to his arrest and given a warning to turn down his music.

Nealy, a junior, rushed for 158 yards and 2 touchdowns in 11 games last season.

Stringfellow was charged in connection with two separate incidents on the night of the Super Bowl (February 2, 2014). UW quarterback Cyler Miles was also linked to the alleged incidents but will not be charged.

Stringfellow and Miles have been suspended indefinitely from the team since February 5.
