Story:

University of Virginia midfielder Carl Walrath was arrested early Sunday (November 24, 2013) morning in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Walrath, 21, was arrested following a fight in which 8 to 10 people were involved. Police tried to break up the fight, but Walrath resisted. When police tried to arrest him, he punched one officer in the face and fled on foot. He was caught and arrested a couple of blocks away.

Walrath was later released on $2,500 bond.

UPDATE: Walrath pleaded guilty to assault and obstruction of justice on Friday (January 24, 2014). He was sentenced to 10 days in jail and must complete 50 hours of court-mandated community service. The disorderly conduct and public intoxication charges were dropped.

Auburn University lacrosse player Zachary Burgess was arrested Saturday (September 21, 2013) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Burgess, 20, was arrested after he allegedly stole a vehicle from a bar parking lot and drove off with a passenger still inside. He allegedly hit several cars on his way out of the parking lot. Burgess admitted he wanted to act out the video game “Grand Theft Auto” in real life.

Gargano, 20, was arrested around 12:15 a.m. after an altercation with a campus safety officer.

Gargano admitted to police he had ingested four separate doses of LSD earlier that evening at a concert.

SUNY Cortland defenseman J.T. Foltz was arrested on Monday (August 12, 2013) in Auburn, New York.

Foltz, 21, was arrested along with two other men for their roles in the alleged assault of a 42-year-old man on May 25 outside a pizzeria. The victim suffered a broken right leg, along with bruises across his face and neck.

Kevin Drew Arrested

Syracuse University lacrosse player Kevin Drew was arrested early Monday (October 24, 2011) in Syracuse, New York.

Kevin Drew, 21, was arrested around 3:30 a.m. after police witnessed the vehicle that Drew was driving hit a parked vehicle. Police chased the vehicle, which was driving 50 mph in a 30 mph zone. After the vehicle finally pulled over, Drew did not follow police commands to get out of the vehicle with his hands up. The vehicle that Drew was driving belongs to Drew’s roommate, Tim Desko, who is the son of Syracuse University lacrosse coach John Desko. Neither John Desko, the registered owner of the vehicle, nor Tim Desko knew Drew took the vehicle.

Kevin, a senior, was suspended indefinitely from the team after this incident.

Adam Agostini Arrested

Texas Christian University lacrosse player Adam Agostini was arrested Wednesday (September 14, 2011) in Fort Worth, Texas.

Agostini, 19, turned himself in to police on a warrant accusing him of sexually assaulting a woman off-campus on August 26.

Logan Tousaw Arrested

Story:

Syracuse University defender Logan Tousaw was arrested Sunday (August 7, 2011) in Lake Placid, New York.

Tousaw, Eric DeJohn (who is an incoming freshman to the Syracuse lacrosse program) and another male were arrested after police responded to a complaint of three males breaking into cars. The three men allegedly went into unlocked vehicles and stole items. They also damaged vehicles, including broken windows, dents and scratches.

Tousaw was later released after posting $1,000 cash bail.

Jacob Bratek Arrested

According to 9wsyr.com, Syracuse University freshman lacrosse midfielder Jacob Bratek was arrested Friday (August 20, 2010) morning in Syracuse, New York.

Bratek, 18, was pulled over around 3 a.m. after police noticed only one working headlight on Bratek’s vehicle. He was taken into custody after police noticed Bratek was intoxicated. He had a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.13%.

After an impressive high school career, Bratek signed a national letter of intent to play for Syracuse in the spring.
