Williams, 21, was arrested after being pulled over for weaving in the lane. He had a blood-alcohol content of .062 and .067, both below Florida’s legal limit of .08.

Boston Red Sox minor league pitcher Drake Britton was arrested on Saturday (March 2, 2013) in Estero, Florida.

Britton was arrested after police witnessed him driving 111 mph in a 45 mph zone. Britton also allegedly jumped over a curb and knocked down a fence. Britton allegedly refused a breath test and admitted he had been drinking.

Britton, 23, was optioned to Double-A Portland on Monday (March 4).

Harrisburg Senators outfielder Archie Gilbert was arrested Thursday (September 1, 2011) in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.

Gilbert was arrested around 2 a.m. for allegedly driving drunk through a closed area of a construction zone. He allegedly kept driving through the active construction zone while people were working, nearly striking several workers. Gilbert also refused a breath test.

Gilbert, 28, was later released after posting $500 bail.

Tyson Gillies Arrested

According to Greg Auman of the St. Petersburg Times, Philadelphia Phillies outfielder prospect Tyson Gillies was arrested early Friday (August 20, 2010) morning in Clearwater, Florida.

Gillies, 21, was taken into custody around 1 a.m. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred back in June, when he was on a rehab assignment for a hamstring injury.

Gillies played in 26 games for the Reading Phillies, who are the Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, this season but has been sidelined for most of the season with a hamstring injury. He was one of three prospects acquired by the Phillies in an offseason trade that sent pitcher Cliff Lee to the Seattle Mariners.

Gillies was later released on $2,000 bond.
