Story:

Grand Rapids Griffins forward Riley Sheahan was arrested Monday (October 29, 2012) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Sheahan, 20, was arrested after being pulled over for going down the wrong way down a street. Sheahan, who was wearing a purple Teletubby costume at the time, had a blood-alcohol content of .30 percent. He also had the driver’s license of teammate Brendan Smith, which he allegedly used to get into bars.

Eager, 28, was arrested along with his brother after an altercation at a pub.

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien was arrested Wednesday (August 31, 2011) in Hennepin County, Minnesota.

Byfuglien, 26, was booked around 11:00 p.m. and was released a few hours later.

Story:

New York Rangers forward Sean Avery was arrested early Friday (August 5, 2011) morning in Los Angeles, California.

Police responded around 1 a.m. to a neighbor’s complaint about loud music at Avery’s residence. Avery answered the front door and allegedly argued with police before pushing one officer and slamming the door. Following the confrontation, more police were were called to the residence and Avery was arrested.

Avery, 31, was later released after posting $20,000 bail.

Philadelphia Flyers right winger Nikolay Zherdev was arrested in Russia.

Zherdev, 26, was arrested after an incident which took place outside the restaurant where his wife and him had eaten. He allegedly smashed the vehicle his wife was driving with a metal rod. Witnessed also heard him shout threats at his wife.

According to Selena Hernandez of cbs11tv.com, Dallas Stars center Mike Ribeiro was arrested Sunday (October 10, 2010) night in Plano, Texas.

Ribeiro, 30, was dining at a restaurant with his wife Tammy Williams and their friends Wane and Darcy Lewis. The two women got into an altercation with other patrons at the restaurant and an off-duty officer who was working there intervened. All four were taken into custody around 11:30 p.m.
