New York Knicks TV and radio announcer Spero Dedes was arrested Sunday (July 3, 2011) in Southampton, New York.

Dedes, 32, was stopped by police at 4:12 a.m. for speeding. Police found that Dedes was intoxicated.

Dedes was hired by the Knicks in June 2011, replacing Mike Crispino. He was an announcer for the Los Angeles Lakers from 2005-2011.

ESPN radio personality Harry M. Teinowitz was arrested late Friday (March 4, 2011) in Skokie, Illinois.

Teinowitz, 50, was pulled over by police around 12 p.m. Teinowitz’s blood alcohol content was .131.

Teinowitz’s driver’s license was taken away and he was later released from jail. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 23.

Teinowitz has been a host of “The Afternoon Saloon” since 2001, which broadcast on ESPN radio in Chicago.
