Central Michigan University quarterback Darrien Boone was charged on Monday (November 25, 2013) in Isabella County, Michigan.
Boone was charged for allegedly stealing a debit card and being involved in two transactions on the card. The first transaction occurred on November 1 at a Shell gas station, which totaled $71.15, and the other at Rally’s, which totaled $17.99. He was identified on surveillance wearing CMU football team attire at the gas pump. Boone admitted to finding the card in a parking lot and using it to buy gas. Another man admitted to using the card at Rally’s.
Boone, 19, was suspended indefinitely following this incident.
