Chicago Bears offensive tackle J’Marcus Webb was arrested Sunday (February 24, 2013) evening in Pulaski County, Illinois.

Webb was arrested after being pulled over for speeding. Police found 2.5 grams of marijuana in his possession at the time of the traffic stop.

UPDATE: The charges were later dismissed.

Chicago Bears linebacker J.T. Thomas was arrested Monday (February 13, 2012) in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Thomas was arrested around 4 a.m. after he was pulled over for going the opposite way on a one-way street. When Thomas was asked to provide his registration, he pulled a bundle from his glove compartment which contained two plastic bags of marijuana.

Thomas, 23, was later released on his own recognizance.

Sam Hurd Arrested

Story:

Chicago Bears wide receiver Sam Hurd was arrested Wednesday (December 14, 2011) night in Chicago, Illinois.

Hurd was arrested by undercover agents at a Chicago restaurant for allegedly attempting to purchase drugs from a supplier in North Texas. The investigation into Hurd’s attempt to buy large amounts of cocaine and marijuana began in July 2011 when he was still a member of the Dallas Cowboys. At the meeting, Hurd told the informant that he wanted to buy five to 10 kilograms of cocaine and 1,000 pounds of marijuana per week for distribution in the Chicago area. Hurd allegedly negotiated to pay $25,000 per kilogram for the cocaine and $450 per pound for the marijuana. After they agreed on a price, the undercover agent gave Hurd a kilogram of cocaine. Hurd then took the drugs to his vehicle and was promptly arrested.

Story:

Chicago Bears running back Garrett Wolfe was arrested early Sunday (May 22, 2011) in Miami, Florida.

Wolfe was arrested after refusing to pay his $1,572 bill at a nightclub. He became aggressive while being ejected by bouncers and two off-duty officers were summoned. He was given the opportunity to settle his bill, but he refused and attacked one of the officers.

Wolfe, 26, will become an unrestricted free agent when the NFL season resumes.
