Story:
East Carolina University linebacker Darrell Montese Overton was arrested Wednesday (May 2, 2012) in Greenville, North Carolina.
Overton was arrested along with a woman for allegedly abandoning an 8-month-old pit bull in an apartment. The dog was left in a cage without water for a week after Overton and the woman moved out of the apartment.
Overton, 20, was suspended indefinitely from the team after this incident.
