Former University of Oregon football player and current NFL free agent Cliff Harris was arrested on Tuesday (May 7, 2013) in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Harris was pulled over at 8:30 a.m. for passing cars in a no-passing area while driving 62 mph in a 45 mph zone on his way to court for his May 3rd arrest. Harris was cited for speeding, passing in a no-passing zone and driving without a license.

Harris was scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. so the deputy who made the traffic stop made a courtesy call to the courthouse to let them know Harris was running late and the courthouse would allow him extra time to arrive. Harris didn’t show up by 10 a.m. so the judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest. When Harris finally arrived at 10:15 a.m. he was arrested.

Former Michigan State University football player TyQuan Hammock was arrested on Saturday (February 9, 2013) in East Lansing, Michigan.

Hammock was arrested after a traffic stop. He was carrying a handgun at the time and had a blood-alcohol content of 0.09 percent. Hammock agreed to a plea deal on Feb. 27 to a lessened charge of operating while visibly impaired.

Hammock, 22, left the football team in early February.
