Former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb was arrested on Sunday (December 15, 2013) in Maricopa County, Arizona.

McNabb, 37, was arrested around 3 a.m. after being pulled over for driving 81 mph in a 65-mph zone.

McNabb pleaded guilty on March 27 and was sentenced to one day in jail with nine days of his sentence suspended.

McNabb played 13 years in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles (1999-2009), Washington Redskins (2010) and Minnesota Vikings (2011).

Former University of Arkansas linebacker and 2014 NFL Draft prospect Jarrett Lake was arrested on Thursday (April 10, 2014) in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Lake was arrested after he allegedly abandoned two of his dog. Animal Control responded to an abandoned animal call at Lake’s rented residence, which he allegedly had moved out at least six days earlier, on December 29. Police found one of his dogs dead, and another dog extremely malnourished.

Lake, 22, was later released on $2,500 bond.

Lake played for the Razorbacks from 2010 to 2013.

Former LSU, NFL offensive lineman Brandon Winey was arrested early Saturday (April 12, 2014) morning in Sulphur, Louisiana.

Winey was arrested for allegedly shooting former LSU linebacker Tahj Jones in the abdomen Friday (April 11, 2014) night. Jones went an apartment complex to visit a woman and Winey arrived shortly after to visit the same woman. An altercation ensued, and Winey pulled out a handgun and shot Jones.

Jones, 24, played at LSU from 2010 to 2013 and is a prospect in the 2014 NFL Draft in May.

Winey, 36, played at LSU from 1997 to 2000 and in the NFL with the Denver Broncos (2001), Washington Redskins (2003) and the New York Giants (2004).

Moffitt was arrested around 4 a.m. at a nightclub after he allegedly punched another man who confronted Moffitt about selling drugs inside the club. Moffitt was found with 10 grams of cannabis, four ecstasy pills and one gram of cocaine.

Moffitt, 27, played in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks (2011-12) and Denver Broncos (2013). He retired from the NFL on November 5, 2013.
