Temple University linebacker Praise Martin-Oguike was arrested Thursday (May 31, 2012) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Martin-Oguike was arrested for allegedly raping another student in his dorm room on May 26th. Around 4 p.m. the 21-year-old victim went to Martin-Oguike’s dorm room to watch television. When she denied his advances, he allegedly forced her to lay down, then pulled down her shorts and raped her.
Martin-Oguike, 18, was later released after posting 10-percent of his $15,000 bail. He was suspended from the team after this incident.
