Story:
New York Rangers forward Sean Avery was arrested early Friday (August 5, 2011) morning in Los Angeles, California.
Police responded around 1 a.m. to a neighbor’s complaint about loud music at Avery’s residence. Avery answered the front door and allegedly argued with police before pushing one officer and slamming the door. Following the confrontation, more police were were called to the residence and Avery was arrested.
Avery, 31, was later released after posting $20,000 bail.
