Spartanburg Methodist College pitcher Taylor Childers was arrested early Sunday (January 27, 2013) morning in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Childers, 19, was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a woman as she was asleep on Friday night. Childers was at an apartment with some other students and when the others had left, Childers illegally re-entered the apartment and allegedly assaulted the woman as she was asleep on the couch. The girl was able to fight Childers off.
