University of Colorado Quarterback Jordan Webb Pleads Guilty

University of Colorado quarterback Jordan Webb pleaded guilty on Wednesday (August 28, 2013) in Colorado.

Webb pleaded guilty to third-degree assault. He was arrested along with former CU football player Alex Lewis in May 2013 after the two men were involved in a fight that resulted in serious bodily injury to another man.

Webb, 22, is scheduled to appear for sentencing on September 6.

Webb, a senior, threw for 1434 yards and 8 touchdowns last season.

University of Colorado defensive lineman Samson Kafovalu was arrested Friday (February 22, 2013) night in Boulder, Colorado.

Kafovalu, 19, was arrested after he tried to force his way into a fraternity party and threatened to kill a security guard when he wasn’t allowed in. He had a blood-alcohol content of a 0.120 percent at the time. He was issued a summons and allowed to leave the scene.

University of Colorado defensive lineman Will Pericak was arrested Sunday (January 29, 2012) morning in Boulder, Colorado.

Pericak, 21, was arrested around 1 a.m. after he lit the contents of a metal bucket, containing trash and miscellaneous paper, on fire at a bar. There was no damage to the bar. When the bartender asked Pericak to leave, he refused and then started swearing and walked aggressively towards the bartender, then chest-bumped the bartender. When police were called, Pericak fled the bar.

University of Colorado wide receiver Austin Vincent was arrested Friday (November 18, 2011) in Boulder, Colorado.

Vincent was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to an 18-year-old woman. The woman, who lives in the same dormitory as Vincent, says he came into the women’s only shower while she was showering. She says he started talking to her and then pulled aside her curtain, fully exposing himself to her. Vincent admits using the women’s shower because the men’s was filthy.

Vincent, 19, was suspended from the team after this incident.

Syracuse University quarterback Jonathan Miller and University of Colorado guard Bryce Givens were arrested early Wednesday (August 3, 2011) morning in Boulder, Colorado.

Miller and Givens were arrested on suspicion of punching and robbing a 21-year-old man. The victim said he was walking home around 3:30 a.m. when he was approached by two men. One of the men punched him in the face and then the two men then took his cash and cell phone. Police suspect that Miller was the one who threw the punch.

Givens, 22, was suspended from the team following an incident in January when he was caught on surveillance kicking car doors in a private parking garage in Denver. He will not return to the team after this incident.

Michael Sipili Arrested

According to denverpost.com, University of Colorado linebacker Michael Sipili was arrested Tuesday (January 11, 2011) in Boulder, Colorado.

Sipili turned himself in to police after learning of a warrant for his arrest for an incident that occurred on December 4. Police were called to an apartment complex on December 4 around 5 a.m. after a woman reported that she was sexually assaulted by a man at a friend’s residence.

Sipili, a senior, completed his NCAA eligibility this past season (2010).

Josh Moten Arrested

According to Kyle Ringo of the buffzone.com, University of Colorado cornerback Josh Moten was arrested early Tuesday (October 12, 2010) morning.

Moten, a freshman, and his former girlfriend, Brittni Matthews, got into a physical altercation around 1 a.m. Matthews allegedly confronted Moten, asked for a pair of earrings she had given him, then slapped him and Moten allegedly pushed Matthews away. Matthews was issued a ticket for third-degree assault.

Moten, 18, was suspended indefinitely from the team after this incident.
