Williams was pulled over by police at 1:37 a.m. for an alleged traffic violation. Police could smell a strong odor of alcohol and Williams showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests. Williams also admitted he had been drinking alcohol.

Williams was later released after posting a $100 bond.

Jones, 20, was arrested after he allegedly struck two men with his fist. The victims said Jones struck them because of their sexual orientation. Jones told police the incident was retaliation for another fight a week earlier.

Jason Ford Arrested

University of Illinois running back Jason Ford was arrested Sunday (April 24, 2011) in Champaign, Illinois.

Ford was arrested around 2 a.m. after police were called to a parking garage after someone heard a verbal domestic argument. When police arrived, they found Ford and a 22-year-old woman. Police did a routine check on Ford, which turned up an outstanding warrant from McLean County for failure to appear in court that stems from a July 2010 charge.

Ford, a junior, was later released on $300 bond.
